Villa Pangi Gita, Canggu, was successfully employed to meet the owner's desires of East Meets West privacy for himself and his guests, blending in selected artworks into a Balinese setting and to create spiritual retreat.

An ambience of simplicity, yet warmth, has been created by the use of teak and local stone. In the décor, the subtle colors of local wood, terracotta and woven materials, prevail. A well-known Garden Architect was used to take advantage of the land's sloping character and the river-front and create a natural environment with a variety of tropical trees, palms, fragrant flower, ferns, etc.

Water is an important part of Bali and also of this property. The upper part has ponds with still, as well as softly running water, and the lower part with its river front and light rapids, delivers pleasing sounds to both Guests Bedrooms and to the Master Bedroom pavilion and the pool area.

The same architects that constructed the luxurious Four Seasons Resort at Bali’s Jimbaran Bay were successfully contracted to create another fabulous ‘East meets West’ setting at Villa Pangi Gita. The design objective of Villa Pangi Gita was to create a private residence made up of several pavilions for the owner and his many guests. Villa Pangi Gita is a private villa, set upon a sloping crest and bounded by the Pangi River. The rich tropical gardens at Villa Pangi Gita consist of a lush variety of tropical trees, palms and fragrant flowers including a variety of other colourful plant life.
