VILLA MERAK

This wonderful two-storey villa is almost invisible from the other properties. On the ground floor there is an extremely comfortable sitting room with access to a toilet/shower room with twin washbasins. On each side of the sitting room there are mezzanine floors, one with a very well equipped and furnished kitchen and dining area and on the other, an additional sitting area and office space with a large desk and connections for fax and access to the Internet.

As in all four villas, the artwork is both eclectic and captivating. Here, there are two large, colourfully vibrant paintings by the renowned Balinese artist, Made Darsana which really add life to the atmosphere.

Ascending either of two spiral stone staircases will take you to the upper floor and the two luxurious bedrooms. Each has a terrace with comfortable furniture where you can sit and relax while gazing out over the ocean.

Both bedrooms in Villa Merak share the open style bathroom, which due to the elevated location of the villa, remains private. With twin wash basins, shower, toilet and a stunning twin sized terrazzo bathtub, you can soak away your worries, secure in the knowledge that you are in one of the most comfortable and exclusive resorts to be found in Bali.

The swimming pool at Villa Merak has an elevated sun deck with sun beds, drink tables and umbrellas to provide shade.

At the eastern end of the garden is a large BBQ terrace, complete with a “famous” igloo shaped Pizza oven. This is a superb place for small parties and for entertaining your friends.
