MEDICAL CLINIC
The Resort features a medical clinic to provide assistance to guests.
It is managed by the Tri Budaya Foundation. It is open from 8:00
am to 8:00 pm daily, permanently manned by a fully trained nurse
and with a general practitioner in daily attendance. In addition
to that, doctors and other staff from their base at Jimbaran Clinic
(located two kilometers from the Resort) as well as an ambulance
are available on 24-hour call.
General Precautions
Travelers in general should be in good health. Appropriate health
and accident insurance documents and copies of any important medical
records should be part of your personal travel documents. Adequate
supply of all prescription and other medications as well as a spare
pair of eyeglasses or contact lenses are recommended.
Water at the Resort is safe for drinking and stringent hygiene
standards are kept. Water samples are regularly examined by independent
laboratories. However, extra caution is recommended outside of the
Resort. If in doubt, drink bottled beverages or beverages made with
boiled water, avoid ice cubes, raw seafood, rare meat or dairy products.
For fruits and vegetables, the old Asian saying applies: cook it,
peel it or forget it.
Water treatment in the Resorts pools and water features is carried
out regularly and is monitored very closely to safeguard hygienic
conditions. Please pay attention to the prominently posted security
notices and follow our employees instructions. Please note the warning
flags on the beach. Swimming is at your own risk at all times. Outside
of the Resort, swimming in freshwater lakes and rivers should be
avoided.
Reduce problems related to sun exposure by wearing clothing which
reduces exposed skin, wear sunglasses, wide-brimmed hats, sunscreen
lotions and lip protection. Drink sufficient quantities of non-alcoholic
liquid daily.
